About Us

The Founder

Randie Thompson, founder of A Bottled Affair, has always loved wine. Looking at it, smelling it, talking about it, thinking about it, and of course, drinking it. After completing a series of coursework that led to an Executive Sommelier certification from Denver’s International Wine Guild, she began to look for ways to pursue her passion professionally and leave her corporate lawyering days behind.

The Concept

Randie designed her business concept around the basic truth that a good wine can significantly enhance nearly any experience, and the sad truth that special celebrations, client entertainment events and other firm functions are all easy targets for bad wine. So why not change that? With the tremendous availability and selection of high quality, reasonably priced wine, we all deserve better. And so the idea was born for A Bottled Affair, an events venue and gathering place for wine lovers of every persuasion.

The Venue

From networking and team building events to birthdays, bridal showers and other celebrations, our conveniently located and well-appointed venue accommodates a wide variety of gatherings for groups of up to 60 people. At A Bottled Affair, we understand that wine selection plays a central role in defining your overall event experience. Our sommeliers will work with you to choose the perfect wine and pair it with a wide array of artisanal breads and cheeses, charcuterie, fresh fruits, nuts and olives to create a personalized gathering for your guests. You may also bring in a chef or caterer of your choice with our commercial warming kitchen at your disposal.
