Discover the art of blending wines in a fun and engaging group environment. We begin with an overview of how, when and why winemakers blend wines. Next we taste a variety of single varietal wines and learn what makes each varietal unique and how they might be used in a blended wine. We then move into ‘teams’ where we use beakers, droppers and teamwork to develop our own perfect blends. The workshop culminates in a judging of each group’s blend, with wine-themed prizes for the winning team. Light food service included. Available for groups of 10 to 36.

This makes for a fun and engaging group event. Though many of us love wine, it can still be difficult describing what we like to our local wine store attendant or restaurant server. Are you the type of wine drinker who has an opinion about a wine when they taste it, but can’t seem to make this opinion apply to future bottle purchases? It’s time to understand your wine preferences profile and put it to use! Through this a workshop-style tasting of 8 wines of varied styles from around the world, you will discover your wine preferences profile. The goal here is to not only find out what you like, but perhaps even more importantly what you don’t like. Through this interactive wine tasting workshop, your group learn the basics of different grape varieties, as well as how climate and production impact a grape. You’ll also take home a Wine Aroma Wheel to help you continue your wine journey. Following the workshop A Bottled Affair will prepare customized palate profiles for each member of your group, an invaluable tool for future wine purchases. Available for groups of 12 to 30.
An 18% service fee will automatically be allotted to the total cost for your group. The service fee includes all gratuity and exclusive use of A Bottled Affair meeting venue, all barware and service, team building set-up and use of A/V equipment.
