Venue Rental



Thank you for considering A Bottled Affair for your upcoming event.  We are a small wine events venue in downtown Denver that specializes in wine receptions for groups of up to 60 people.  The following provides some information that should be helpful in determining whether we are a good fit for your event venue needs.

  • Rental – Our venue is available for rental for an hourly fee of $100, with a 3 hour minimum.
  • Location – We are located in the historic Oddfellows Hall at 1543 Champa Street in downtown Denver, just steps from the 16th Street Mall and only two blocks from the Colorado Convention Center. Numerous hotels, restaurants and shopping boutiques surround us on all sides.
  • Parking – Our building does not have a parking lot. However, a covered parking lot accessible from 16th & Champa and an outdoor parking lot at 15th & Champa offer reasonable rates, particularly for evening hours. Parking is also available nearby at the Colorado Convention Center or you may find metered parking on the street.
  • Offerings – We specialize in wine receptions and private tasting dinners, including corporate entertainment and private celebrations such as engagement parties, rehearsal dinners and special birthdays. We also offer corporate team building programs centered around wine tasting exercises, wine tastings and a variety of fun and education wine classes.  You can learn more about these programs by reviewing our events menu. Our A/V amenities also allows our clients to execute more formal business agendas … perfect for executive and management meetings or educational seminars.
  • Décor – Our space is newly remodeled and brand new! High ceilings, beautiful hardwood floors, chandelier and wall sconce lighting and exposed brick combine to create an elegant but festive space for your celebration or gathering. Because we specialize in standing wine receptions, our furniture is limited.  We do have a buffet table as well as cocktail tables available for these events, free of charge.  Please inquire as to any additional furniture needs.
  • Size – We are a small venue, 800 square feet total, most akin to a private lounge or small restaurant.  We can comfortably accommodate up to 60 adults for a standing reception, 40 for banquet style seating or 30 for a classroom set up.
  • Audio/Visual – We have a 50-inch flat screen for your presentations and meeting materials as well as a speaker system.  You can plug in your own music from our ipod dock or we can choose for you, if music is desired.  We also have wireless internet access.
  • Food & Beverages – We offer a nice selection of small bites for your event but also allow you the option to use an outside caterer. Because we hold a liquor license from the State of Colorado, all alcoholic beverages must be purchased through A Bottled Affair.  We select wines, beer and spirits per event, and offer customized food and wine pairings.  We are happy to serve wine by the glass or set up a cash bar for your event, at your option.
  • Kitchen – Our caterer’s kitchen is available for use by an outside caterer for your event for an additional fee of $100.
